Compatibility Approval for HD4850/HD4870 Graphics Cards

Shuttle has announced that many of its current XPC Mini-PCs have already been approved for the new ATI Radeon HD4850 and HD4870 graphics cards (see table below) and are now also available in its Shuttle Systems Configurator for Complete Systems. With advanced 55-nm technology, fewer transistors, high-clocked DDR5 memory (in the HD4870), DirectX-10.1 support and improved GPU architectural details, AMD has again made its claim for the technological leadership in the race for the fastest graphics processor.

Shuttle XPCs still available with Windows XP thanks to the Windows Vista Downgrade Program

Microsoft is ending sales of Windows XP in the retail version and the award of licenses via the large PC manufacturers. End-users can only purchase Windows XP in the market for as long as stocks last. Customer service will be maintained until April 2009 and security updates will continue until April 2014. If customers want to use Windows XP, then this will be possible from 1.7.08 to 31.1.09 through the Windows Vista Downgrade Program.
