"The fastest small form factor (SFF) PC we’ve ever seen," concluded the editors of the British hardware magazine Personal Computer World about the Shuttle XPC P 2500G. Shuttle's new innovation managed four out of five stars in the end of the test, since it is "extremely quick" and has a "stylish case".
"A supercharged PC crammed into a ridiculously small chassis," say the editors about its exterior. Thanks to AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 processor, ATI Radeon X1900 XTX graphics card from Connect3D and two Gigabytes of TakeMS memory the Shuttle XPC P 2500G achieved impressive results.
Especially the graphics card was reason for their amazement, despite of the small size of the case "Shuttle found room for this graphics-card." Once tests were finished, the editors were sure that "it won’t have any problems with the latest games," because "it can match some of the dual-graphics card PCs we’ve seen."
Thanks to its powerful components "the Shuttle XPC P 2500G flew through our performance tests" completing it with 5 out of 5 stars. The "traditional, black chassis, combined with light blue panels" elegantly hides a DVD writer, a number of audio jacks, also USB and FireWire connectors.
Conclusion:
"If you want a supercharged PC in a small and stylish case, there are few alternatives at present and Shuttle has done an excellent job with the Shuttle XPC P 2500G."
