Computerbild: "The XPC G5 2000H was the fastest computer in the test field"

"Who said computers should always be big, grey and bulky?" Well, no one really did. The editors of the German computer magazine Computerbild agree when they said "A PC in smallest dimensions cuts a really fine figure on every desk." But it was not only the looks of the Shuttle XPCs that convinced the editors.

Shuttle XPC G5 2000H

"As the only participant in our round up the XPC G5 2000H was the only unit that passed the gaming test with a "Good." According to the editors, it was in the first place the relatively high number of 44 images per second that helped it manage this result. "We are able to run even high demanding, 3D games nearly fluently." Also proving performance in terms of desktop applications meant no problem to the Shuttle XPC G5 2000H. "Very good," concluded the editors pointing out the XPC G5 2000H was "the fastest computer in the test field."

Conclusion: "2nd ranked in overall"

Rating  2.89
Verdict  Good value for money

Shuttle XPC G5 1100H

Regarding performance in desktop applications the Shuttle XPC G5 1100H was in no way inferior to the Shuttle XPC G5 2000H making the editors say again "Very good." Especially its low noise level impressed the editors: "The 1100 was very quiet indeed: in operation we measured 0.9 Sone, while we had 1.2 Sone under full load."

Conclusion:

Rating  3.10
Verdict  Still good value for money
