Power Unlimited: "Blazingly fast, overwhelming performance"

Power Unlimited: How to pack top notch performance in cases with the size of a shoebox? Shuttle has the solution right at hand, since they "are well-known for bringing small dimensions and performance together, but the Shuttle XPC P 2500G breaks any records," write the editors of the Dutch gaming magazine Power Unlimited showering the high end gaming rig with praise.

"Normally, we know gaming PCs as huge towers decorated with shining lights and transparent sides," claim the editors of the largest gaming magazine in the Benelux. But Shuttle breaks the habit and "proves that powerful gaming PCs can be even smaller and also attractive." The Shuttle XPC P 2500G is the model that was scrutinized by the editors.

The built-in AMD Athlon 64 FX60 processor indicates what is yet to come. Being loaded with 2GB of DDR-400 RAM, a 250GB hard disk, integrated 8-in-1 card reader and a "monster graphics card" Connect 3D Radeon X1900XTX, the "Shuttle XPC P 2500G provides overwhelming performance!" How Shuttle managed to integrate all these "first class components" in such a small case might remain a secret, but the "X1900XTX stood its ground very well," assure the editors. One might expect a higher noise level, due to this high-end configuration. But "thanks to the 350W SilentX power supply and a large fan, it stays cool, but nicely quiet," explain the editors.

Coming along with one hard disk, "the Shuttle XPC P 2500G can take even more and allows two more hard disks" enabling its users to store a massive amount of data.

Featurewise, it offers 2x USB ports, FireWire, microphone and headphone connectors in the front apart from "a card reader that reads any current formats of memory cards." The rear side turned out just as feature-rich as the frontpanel did: 4x USB, FireWire, Gigabit-LAN and 8 channel audio. In other words: "The Shuttle XPC P 2500G is ready for any tasks and applications," sum up the editors.

Conclusion:

"I have fallen in love secretly with this extremely high-end gaming brick."
