A Media Center PC will replace stand-alone systems like video recorders, DVD- and CD-players in the living room in the near future. On their campaign to conquer the living rooms they still run into obstacles as the editors of the British lifestyle magazins Digital Home discovered: "While we're fans of Media Center here at Digital Home, it's become obvious that the current crop of MCE machines have no place in the living room. They're too big, too noisy and lack the style and sophistication of an AV component." But now the ex- perts of Digital Home found what they had been looking for.
