Hardware-Test.dk: "Bronze Award"

A small form factor computer "with the best onboard graphic chip" the Danish IT website Hardware-Test.dk "has ever seen" recently paid a visit to their test labs. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G5 which is targeted at home users "is no doubt a very good product" for anyone who "just prefers to buy a built computer or a semi-built computer," the editors state awarding it their Bronze Award.

"Design is what the name Shuttle stands for," explain the editors of the Danish IT portal Hardware-Test.dk. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G5 that was recently tested is a "swift, tiny case of high quality," the editors noticed having unwrapped the package. It also "seems strong," but still is "light weight."

Conclusion: "Bronze Award"

This small form factor computer was designed for general applications in the home environment and is based on Intel's G33 Express chipset with onboard HDMI interface that "performs very well." It even is the "best onboard graphic chip" the editors had seen at the time of writing. Besides, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G5 supports "the newest, and upcoming quad core" LGA 775 processors with 1333 MHz "and has great opportunities for overclocking," too.

Even though there were little expectations in terms of overclocking, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G5 surprised the editors, because it comes along with “lots of overclocking setups and voltage adjustment possibilities,” write the editors.
To sum it up, Hardware-Test.dk was convinced by the onboard graphic chip and the "high quality" Shuttle is known for. When it comes to the price tag, the editors are sure consumers "get a lot for their money."
