 "Shuttle offers a real problem solver for those SoHo users seeking something special," writes the British channel magazine Microscope having had a closer look at the Shuttle T-Series Barebone SS31T.
Being a barebones PC the Shuttle T-Series comes with the case, mainboard and power supply. The greatest benefit to opt for such kind of PCs is these allow "resellers to tailor their offering to ensure their customer gets exactly what it wants." This of course includes the choice of processors, memory and optical drives.
"Shuttle has been at the forefront of driving the cube PC format," explains Microscope the popularity of Shuttle XPCs. With the Shuttle T-Series a new model line is add to the Shuttle family. "Smooth edges and curved corners are complemented by subdued colours," describe the editors the design of the Shuttle T-Series Barebone SS31T.
Targeting the SoHo market, this chassis is base to a "computer system that looks good, but will not bust the budget," point out the editors the value for money. Designed to run a Intel processors, it does also support Intel Core 2 Duo E4300, the unit "comes with all of the interfaces you would expect to turn it into a hub that can work with USB 2.0 devices and SATA."
