Computer Shopper: "4 stars out of 5"

"If you’re looking to build a PC with a Core 2 Duo processor, the SD37P2 case is a good option, as it’s well-built, small and expandable," state the editors of the British computer magazine Computer Shopper. They recently had a closer look at Shuttle's latest high-end SFF PC solution for gamers that managed to "score well."

"From the outside it looks sleek, with brushed metal doors covering the drive bays," described the testers the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2. Having taken off the case, this shoebox computer reveals "a surprising amount of room inside" that can take an optical drive, provides a floppy disk bay that can be used for a third hard disk or a memory card reader.
The five fans incorporated in the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD37P2 "aren't particularly loud" and "didn't get louder under load," praise the editors. Performance-wise it "scored well" in the standard tests. Gaming fans get "a lot of cooling," too.

"There’s a lot to like about this case, though," according to Computer Shopper.
"Shuttle has finally managed to fit enough expansion ports," continue the editors. Users benefit from connectivity such as six USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, an e-SATA and 8 channel audio on the rear while the front panel provides two more USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, headphone and mic-in.

Conclusion:

"If you’re looking to build a PC with Core2 Duo processor, the SD37P2 case is a good option as it’s well-built, small and expandable."

"4 stars out of 5"

Pros:
