PC Welt: "Low power consumption and low noise level"
The German computer-magazine PC Welt tested the Shuttle XPC M1000, the "well built multimedia-PC in the black Hi-Fi-chassis". The Shuttle XPC M1000 can be perfectly placed in living rooms. It meets all demands of the editors, because it's quiet, offers a lot of ports and less power consumption.
"The system features a lot of practical interfaces, e.g. two TV-cards and an external hard disk-device." The editors especially praised the used audio-cinch-connectors, SPDIF coaxial and optical or S-Video. Furthermore, an external hard disk in 2,5" format can be added - without problems. The external device is included in delivery.
Although the system has enough power for the latest games it works quiet and efficient: "Positive are the low power consumption and low noise level."
