"We are really surprised. It is pretty quiet and has a great design", conclude the editors of the Spanish computer magazine PC Actual about the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5. But what is it that could impress the editors in such manner?
The first thing that attracted the editors in particular , was the "innovative cooling system". The ICE Heatpipe cooling system make this SFFPC that is right perfect for the living room run under 40 degrees even under full load. But this is by far not the only reason for their great valuation. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5 is very spacious inside making the installation of the components easy and quick.
Its low noise operation also fascinated the editors just like the design did. This forms the basis for an outstanding rating. "Since the last two years, Shuttle has managed to surprise us with great designs again and again and so they did this time – the SD11G5 looks just perfect."
But still not enough though! The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5 provides feature galore:915GM chipset, DDR 400/533 with dual channel, 2x SATA, USB 2.0, Firewire and the Creative Soundblaster Live! onboard sound solution just to mention a few.
Conclusion:
Nearly inaudible and elegant that it is, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5 convinced the editors in every respect so their conclusion was no surprise then: 9.1 out of 10 points.
