The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN26P was the object of interest at Germany’s hardware magazine PC Action. It is the world’s first SLI SFF PC featuring NVIDIA's SLI technology for dual graphics card use. Equipped by PC Action with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ dual core processor, one Gigabyte of memory and a 250 Gigabyte hard disk, this SFF PC dazzled with outstanding performance. Tested by PC Action in a special pre-release edition with 6800GT cards, the SN26P is now available with support for dual 7800GT and 7800GTX cards.
Under "full load" the temperatures of the CPU went up to 45 degrees only, the hard disk’s temperature reached low 37 degrees, while the case just had 35 degrees. After having taken a look at the noise level, the editors reported: "For a SFF PC the noise of 1,5 Sone (Windows) and 2,3 Sone (3D applications) is good."
Conclusion:
Overall: 87%
Pros:
- Performance - Equipment - Fair price – Value for money: good
