2005-05-17 - Microsoft Windows XP: The Official Magazine: Shuttle XP17 TFT – "Hard to resist"
"A high-quality, responsive monitor with a light but durable construction" was how the editors of Window XP: The Official Magazine summed up their impression of the Shuttle XP17 TempAR. What else did they have to say? Read on to find more…
Microsoft Windows XP: The Official Magazine tested the Shuttle XP17 TempAR TFT and liked what it saw: "The glossy front provides games and movies with the same contrast as a CRT monitor, and the small desktop footprint (created by the fold-out stand) make this ideal for mobile users." In addition to outstanding image quality, the TFT's aluminum frame also stood out: "The chassis is light and solid, and the resolution goes up to an acceptable 1280x1024 – ideal and large enough for (nearly) anything."
All of which explains why the editors concluded their review with this endorsement: "the design and build-quality make it hard to resist." Well then, resistance is… futile?
