The French IT magazine "Assembling Mag" recently tested the first media center PC from Shuttle, the XPC System G5 8300M.

Fitted with a TV tuner card and the Media Center edition of Windows XP, this complete system provides multimedia fans with: "excellent TV reception" and is "a pleasure to use with the included remote control." Intended for living room use, one finds in the Shuttle XPC System G5 8300M a PC that "offers a good compromise between noise and cooling," as well as "an excellent product for video applications, that can also be used as a home cinema setup."

Not surprising then that the editors concluded that: "For anyone who wants to own an all-in-one Small Form Factor (SFF) PC this Shuttle XPC System G5 8300M is an excellent product."
