 The „US Masters“ is the only Major Championship that is held at the same venue every year. Every April, the „Augusta National Golf Club,“ Augusta, Georgia is hosting the „US Masters.“ First played in 1934, this tournament accepts professional golfers as participants only, as contrary to the other two „Opens,“ the „US Masters“ are part of the PGA-Tour and European Tour. A written invitation is required to enter the „US Masters.“ The annual winner receives the „Green Jacket“ and is allowed to participate in the „US Masters“ for life – a great honour for every professional golfer. By the way, it took 37 years for a non-American to win the „US Masters“ for the very first time. It was in 1961, when Gary Player from South Africa won the trophy. 13 years later, he could repeat this great success.
