Deutsche Golf Verband (DGV) was founded on May 26, 1907 in Hamburg and is the umbrella organization of all golf clubs and golf facility operators in Germany. Deutsche Golf Verband represents 681 full and extraordinary members (January 2004) with 457.217 active golfers of all ages. DGV is member of Deutsche Sportbund (federation of German sportsmen) and the recognized central association of golfers in Germany.
