 The German hardware website "Tom´s Hardware Guide" had a closer look at the "Alienware Area-51 5300." Alienware-PCs are absolute gaming PCs, but it’s new at all that they are coming in cube-like XPC shape! These are based on the Shuttle XPC Barebone SB83G5.
"Keeping it individually instead of mass producing," explains the computer manufacturer Alienware. Every consumer can now have built up his very own and individual PC. The alternative to self assembly for everyone who doesn´t have knowledge to do it on their own. The "Area- 51 5300" is based on the Shuttle XPC Barebone SB83G5. So even "Alienware" cannot miss the quality of Shuttle.
A having a short look at the technologies: the Shuttle XPC Barebone SB83G5 is based on Intel processors. The customer can choose from Celeron and Prescott processors. The SFF PC contains real "hardware from earth" according to "Tom´s Hardware Guide" - among others hardware from Shuttle!
