The editors of the Dutch hardware magazine Hardware.info tested the Shuttle XPC Barebone SB86i and they were impressed: "The Shuttle SB86i is based on a completely new base, and is one of the first BTX systems that's really available." Most impressive: the noise level: "This new standard gives some clear advantages for the airflow and thus also for the noise level." The design also dazzled the editors: "The appearance is in a completely different style than we have seen from Shuttle, but to be honest: a lot of people think this new style is great."
