They are talking about the Shuttle XPC Barebone SB86i. “It’s a very impressive not-quite-so-little box” and “the best designed SFF PC we’ve seen.” Attention to details is of course nothing new for Shuttle: “The prefitted SATA data cables … are perfectly positioned.” Once again, Shuttle has distinguished itself in the areas of noise management and heat dissipation: “Even with a 3.8Ghz Prescott P4… the fan spins at a barely audible 1,000 rpm.” Let PC Format sum it up for us: “Shuttle SB86i – BTX reduces the heat and noise in SFF, and we want, want, want it!”
Conclusion:
93 percent for the Shuttle XPC Barebone SB86i and proof again that there is such a thing as love at first sight: “We want one really rather badly; it’s highly desirable.”
