250 Watt SilentX Power Supply for G/G2/G5-series chassis Shuttle's 250 Watt SilentX Power Supply makes its first appearance on the XPC Barebone ST61G4. At this time it was the most advanced SFF power supply produced, with increased output, lighter weight, and much quieter operation than previous power supplies. Developed under secrecy for over a year, it has proprietary high-efficiency design, providing more power with less heat output. Airflow and intake/exhaust vents have been optimized, resulting in less resistance and reduced turbulence in the airflow. Also, the power supply chassis has an all-aluminum design, significantly reducing weight. This “Super Quiet, Super Cool” SilentX 250W PSU is designed specifically for the Shuttle XPC, and features all the necessary cables to deliver optimized performance. Further, all cables come made to length and preinstalled, making it easy for users to setup and configure their Shuttle XPC. Tested in our acoustic lab from a distance of 50cm*), this Shuttle SilentX 250W Power Supply produces 32dB (or less) noise.
350 Watt SilentX Power Supply for P-series chassis The P-chassis offers an impressive expansion capacity: it can accommodate for example three hard drives and even a double-slot graphics card, therefore the P Series also takes a giant leap in the PSU department, delivering 100 Watts more than previous PSUs whilst maintaining whisper quiet operation. Tested in our acoustic lab from a distance of 50cm*) to create an environment similar to actual usage, the PSU operates at just 27dB. The large 80mm fan located inside the Power Supply serves to cool the Power Supply itself, but also the chassis and the mainboard.
220 Watt external Power Supply The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5 is one of the world's quietest Small Form Factor (SFF) PCs. A Pentium M processor and an external, fanless power supply ensure an extremely low operating noise. Even while running under a full load the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5 stays quiet: with a measured level of 24 decibels in tests, it was almost silent.
Shuttle SilentX Power Supply Upgrade Kit with 250 and 300 Watt Shuttle was receiving requests from the XPC community for a retail version of this power supply to upgrade previous generation XPCs. In meanwhile, Shuttle offers two versions of this accessory kit: in follow-up to the 250W SilentX power supply "PC40", Shuttle offers the 300W version "PC50". This makes an extra portion wattage for Shuttle XPC user, who want all the speed and power without sacrificing their need for a quiet computer. This is the optimal solution for Shuttle and its customers to support the ever increasing demand for power placed upon XPC systems by the latest technological advances.
