Hardware Info: "Prepared to offer long-lasting pleasure"

The Dutch computer magazine Hardware Info recently tested the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN27P2 for AM2 processors which was praised to be "very close to ideal" and offers "high upgrade potential" for "long-lasting pleasure."

Introducing the brandnew P2-chassis to their product line, Shuttle "managed to build a very special exterior." With its "robust front panel" the SN27P2 already features a number of connectors in the front panel. Having taken off the case, the editors discovered five fans that keep the SN27P2 "very quiet in operation." As an innovation the P2 chassis features four memory banks which "is much for such a small case," assure the editors.

The maximum capacity of RAM is now increased to 8GB. Being built around the nForce 570 Ultra chipset the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN27P2 is "well-suited for gaming, but also as a workstation." On the rear side the editors "found nothing to complain about, in terms of connectivity." External S-ATA port, FireWire, six USB connectors and Gigabit-LAN are just a few examples of what awaits the user.

Conclusion:

The SN27P2 is "prepared to offer long-lasting pleasure" thanks to its AM2 processor support.
