2004-10-04 - Firingsquad.com: "First small form factor manufacturer out of the gates"

"Shuttle is the first small form factor manufacturer out of the gates with an new product based on socket 939 in the form of their SN95G5."

"Shuttle is the first small form factor manufacturer out of the gates with an new product based on socket 939 in the form of their SN95G5. This probably shouldn’t come as to much of a surprise to you if you’ve followed the small form factor (SFF) market closely, as Shuttle was also first with Athlon 64 and Athlon XP solutions. For the matter, they were also first to market with Intel-based products as well."

This new SN95G5 with NVIDIA nForce3 Ultra chipset has got "enough performance to keep a smile on the face of the most demanding gamer. (…) Stability was excellent, even with the high-end components we selected. We especially liked the “sleek, clean look" and "in our subjective opinion, this (the SN95G5) is the best-looking XPC Shuttle has put together to date (…)." It also fits thank to the "barely audible" power supply fan and the "fairly quiet" Smart Fan as "used for home theater systems".

Conclusion:

"If you’re in the market for a solid performing Athlon 64 SFF, Shuttle’s SN95G5 should suit your needs perfectly" and "this high-end XPC comes highly recommended."
