PC World (UK): Recommended Product
 "One of the most well-rounded Shuttles we've seen in a while," conclude the editors of the British computer magazine PC World having tested the Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G5M (D'VO Series) for media centre. The SFF PC which "makes for a brilliant entertainment PC" convinced the editors rating it the full overall score with five out of five stars. A truly deserved "Recommended Product" award.
"A slim, whisper-quiet design with a front LCD screen and remote control," recently paid a visit to the labs of the British computer magazine PC World. This XPC goes "back to basics" and showed up in the popular G5M case design with built in VFD front panel display "standing just 20cm tall."
The Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G5M is built around Intel's G33 Express chipset with HDMI-out and enabled HDCP. Besides, it takes "Intel's latest quad and dual-core processors" and is kitted out with a "huge number of ports," the editors explain. After having fitted in "high-end components," the Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G5M was "whisper-quiet in operation" - important for a media centre that is supposed to live next to the TV in the living room. To be exact "it was so quiet" all the editors noticed was "a stream of clicks from the hard disk," the editors write. The PC is powered on and access with the included "classy brushed metal and plastic remote control" which means there is no hassle of standing up or bending down.
To put it in a nutshell, PCW was "impressed with Shuttle's latest case" which also sells at a "reasonable price."
