"The Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5 is a special machine," state the editors of PC Consument. Why? Well, it's not only the "compact dimensions" the SD11G5 is wrapped in, the editors moreover praised its "very low noise level" that is necessary for a PC that is supposed to sit in your living room. Silent operation is achieved by the "very efficient power supply" that will be found externally. On the other hand, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5 banks on Pentium M CPUs which are "much less power consuming than other Pentium processors are," explain the editors. But the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5 still provides a "fine performance."
Turning the little box around, "outstanding audio connectors come to light" that belong to the Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24bit onboard sound solution that "provides a much better audio quality than conventional audiochips." The other connectors that can be found on the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5 were "working without any problems as well."
