Socket A is being phased out? Not for the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN45GV3. This product is "still good for the latest generation of games in terms of performance." "Whether on your desk or as a cheap Media Center solution in your living room the SN45GV3 is just versatile," claim the editors of the German website "Winexperts" putting the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN45GV3 to the test.

A PC for the living room should be good looking and silent, of course. Having the Silent-X power supply integrated that is "hardly audible" the cube is, no doubt, well-qualified for the living room. The processor cooling is done by the Shuttle I.C.E Heatpipe-cooling system that "works flawlessly". Moving to the front the editors noticed right away "its multitude of connectors." All jacks integrate seamlessly into the "stylish design." One of the new features is two S-ATA interfaces for fast data access. In general, the editors are satisfied with the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN45GV3: "the workmanship of the case is very good at all, nothing clatters and rattles."
