The editors of the German IT-website "inHardware.de" recently tested the Shuttle XPC Barebone ST20G5 completing the review with a clear recommendation. With ATI Radeon Xpress 200 chipset and 8 channel sound, the Shuttle XPC Barebone ST20G5 features "a good configuration as usual."

Hardwareluxx: "Recommended Product"

The current issue of the German IT-magazine "Hardwareluxx printed" includes a round up of six barebones. With three barebones out of six, Shuttle dominated the test and received a lot of praise for their Shuttle XPC Barebone SD11G5, ST20G5 and SD36G5M. Especially the SD11G5 stands out the test field and was cited "Excellent Hardware" thanks to its high versatility.

2005-09-08 - PC Professionell: "Powerful Lifestyle-Minis"

Do you remember who won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, 1965 and 1967? The Mini Cooper – a small car with a powerful engine. Small, attractive and packed with power – just like the Shuttle XPCs that won sort of a rally as well. The trophy to race for was the "Editor's Choice" awarded by the editors of the German hardware magazine PC Professionell. The Mini Cooper won three times in four years, the Shuttle XPCs were placed on three of the first four ranks having the test winner among them: the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN25P.

2005-07-01 - c't: "Well built in every respect"

"SFF PCs bring along the special appealing factor for the living room right from the start." PCs can be appealing? Such statements are hardly ever found in the German IT-experts' magazine "c't." But it wouldn't be the "c't," if the editors left it at a single subjective opinion. That's why they took a closer at four Shuttle XPC Barebones simultaneously - out of a total of ten SFF PCs. The German hardware website Netzwelt.de was pleased with the Shuttle XPC Barebone ST20G5. The staff's first impression? This barebone is not like any other: "There are many SFF PCs – but not with ATI's mainboard chipset Radeon Xpress 200 for the Athlon 64. With the XPC ST20G5, Shuttle is launching the first cube PC based on that chipset. Brushed aluminum and small chromed details give this small one an elegant and stylish outward appearance."

The Shuttle XPC Barebone ST20G5 features the ATi RADEON XPRESS 200 chipset, the fastest onboard graphics to date. "It's just brilliant," wrote the astonished editors of the German hardware website Minitechnet. Shuttle extends its line of XPC Barebones with "a very powerful Small Form Factor (SFF) barebone for Athlon 64 processors." For outstanding performance, good workmanship, low noise and many more positive aspects it was awarded the "MTN Nomination."

The editors of PC INpact, one of France's leading hardware web site, were the first to test the ST20G5, Shuttle's first barebone and the world's first SFF PC, based on the ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 chipset. Offered in Shuttle's G5 chassis, this newest barebone made a good impression from the start: "The G5 design is the most successful of Shuttle's entire product line."
