The French speaking web site Matbe.com recently tested Shuttle's first two XPC Barebones with the new P2 chassis - the Shuttle XPC Barebones SD37P2 and SN27P2. For Matbe.com, Shuttle and "their XPCs have always been on top when it comes to new technologies available and support for the latest chipsets and processors on the market," state the editors. This is why the latest Shuttle XPC Barebones for Intel Core 2 Duo and AM2 processors have paid a visit to the labs of Matbe.com. Both of them finished the tests with good ratings.

The first AM2 processors from AMD are now available. This is why the German hardware magazine Hardwareluxx recently tested current mainboards for this socket type. As an "hors concours" competitor, the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN27P2, as the first SFF PC for AMD AM2 processors, joined the round up. And it could easily keep up with conventional big PCs: "The Shuttle SN27P2 is a serious alternative to a conventional desktop AM2 system."

The British IT online magazine CDRinfo.com recently tested the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN27P2 and managed to completely convince the editors with its "very good looking" design, the overall build quality the editors had "no complaints" about and "superb performance."
In other words, the SN27P2 the box "is exactly what Shuttle advertises."
