Why is there a delay on the SPDIF-out signal?

When a file is selected to play via SPDIF-out, it takes 0.5s before a sound begins playing

Issue: When a file is selected to play via SPDIF-out, it takes 0.5s before a sound begins playing.
Thus the first 0.5s of a song is missed.

Fix: A beta driver has been developed to remove this issue.
