Miniscule design and the ability to take standard PC components let it "take up very little desk space" and make it "light enough to be portable." One of these is the Shuttle XPC P2 3500G.
At its heart beats an Intel Core 2 Quad Q 6600 processor, supported by 4GB of DDR2 memory and an ATI Radeon HD3870 graphics card indicates this SFF PC is tailored towards gaming. The "space-saving case" measuring only 325x220x210mm "yet is packed full of features," notice the editors. DVD burner and a multi-format memory card reader can be found just like a 750GB hard disk and wifi. The built-in fingerprint reader "for quick and easy password-free security" sits behind the front panel together with a FireWire port and a pair of USB connectors. One of these connects the P2 3500G directly to another PC "for easy file transfer."
To avoid issue with cooling and internal airflow, "Shuttle has installed a SilentX 400W power supply and fanless heat-pipe, which cools internally to help keep temperatures and noise to a minimum," writes PC Advisor. Putting the gaming rig to the test, it scored 109 in Worldbench making it obvious the Shuttle XPC P2 3500G is "in the same league as many top-end systems" and "can take advantage of newer [games] titles." |
