PCM: "Four out of five Stars"
 A bunch of eight complete media centre PCs were in focus of the Dutch computer magazine PCM. Sure the Shuttle XPC mini X 200 couldn't miss this round up and convinced the editors with its design, "good picture quality" and "reasonable low power consumption" managing a proud second rank with an overall score of four out of five stars.
"This media centre is even more compact than the previous cube-shaped computers we have seen so far," notice the editors having just unwrapped the package. Known for mini PCs at the size of a shoebox, the market leader has recently started with PCs which "especially fit in the hifi living room," they add. The Shuttle XPC mni X 200 is one of these - a complete PC designed for media centre applications.
Besides an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Windows Vista Ultimate, 2GB of RAM and a 300GB hard disk, the "very flat" Shuttle XPC also includes wireless LAN and a TV tuner as well. The latter impressed the editors with "good quality" of picture and sound. Its "multi format DVD writer and the HD sound with optical out make the package complete," sum up the editors.
